In the Name of God Amen I Margaret Bevier of the Town of Newpaltz [sic] in the County of Ulster and State of Newyork [sic] widow being old and infirm but still of sound memory and understanding blessed he God do this ninth day of March in the year of our Lord one Thousand eight hundred and five make and publish this my Last will and Testament in manner following. That is to say First I give and bequeath unto my son Abraham Bevier the bond on Obligation of six [hundred?] pounds I now hold against him the said my son Abraham Together with the Interest thereon due and which will be due thereon at the Day of my deceas [sic] unto my said son Abraham and to his heirs.
