K 20th [illegible] dwing [?] late was that he well knew Richard Oliver. Who [illegible] [Private?] in Co. K of the 20th Regiment of [U.S.C.?] troops. Weak ^while in the service and in the line [?] duty as a soldier on board of [illegible] on his way from New Orleans to New York City, K [began?] Discharge and he died of [illegible] fever contracted while in the said service. [Sepon??] fees [?] swears that he [? 3 words] in any claim [?] any heirs of said deceased soldier for County back pay or Pension. [A? 3 words?] Late Capt.
