Ulster County f [strikethrough].. Be it remembered that on the twenty sixth day of Decem-
-ber in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and four personally
came and appeared before me Joseph Gasherie Surrogate of the said county
Ezekiel Eltinge of the town of New Paltz in the said county yeoman and be-
-ing duly sworn on his oath declared that he did see Garret Freer sign
and Seal the within written instrument and purporting to be the will of the
said Garret Freer bearing date the twentieth day of July in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and four and heard him publish
and declare the same as and for his last will and Testament that at
the time thereof he the said Garret Freer was of sound disposing mind
and memory to the best of the knowledge and belief of him and the deponent
and that David Sutton and Alexander Lewis together with the depo-
-nent subscribed the said will as witnesses thereto in the Testators pre-
-sence and that Philip Eltinge Jacob J Hasbrouck and Peter Lefever
Junior Executors named in the within written will likewise appeared
before me and were duly sworn to the true execution and performance
of the said will by taking the usual oath of an executor
