Sir:

Final Statements in the cases of deceased soldiers are required to be sent to the Adjutant General's Office in duplicate, with one copy of the Inventory of Effects. The Descriptive List should also be sent to this Office in cases where the soldier was absent from his Comapny at the time of his death. Where there were no effects, it should be so stated on a blank Inventory, properly signed.

Certificates of Disability should be sent in duplicate. Special care should be taken that the date of discharge and signature of the discharging office should be affixed.

All of the Final Statement All Inventory, has been received in the case of Richard Oliver, of Co. "K" 20it" Regiment of U.S.C. Troops Volunteers, whose papers were forwarded to this Office. You will please forward the missing papers without delay.
