Dear mother,

I went to a picnic last week. my cousin went [illegible] [strikethrough] with me. We played games, and many other interesting things. The games we playeod [sic]were drop the handkerchief, tag, and lots of other games that I did not remembor [sic] the names of. We played these in the morning and after dinner they sun seets [sic] and f [strikethrough] Jeumped [sic].
