Dearest Aunt Gertrude:

I was so glad to get your dear care at [Clinsliuas?] & have tried to write you her [sic] twice; but have been so busy with the music [Drawa?] that I coned [sic] do nothnig [sic] else.

Charles Dalton & Jane to be married on July 5th in Alexandria at the British Consulate-General & after taking a short holiday in Rhodes will return here to this exquisite place where I have a [?e?sh] lovely villa.

Ive will be very busy finishing the wusic [sic] [Drawa?]. Have done 450 pages of orchestral score already. His very detailed work. & takes all wey [sic] twice at present. Charles has written a wagnificent [sic] Libretto.
