I was so glad to get your dear care at [Clin???????] & have tried to write yor [sic] men [twice?]; but have been so busy with the music [Dra???] that I coned [can] do [nothing?] else.
 
Charles Dalton & Jane to be married on July 5th in Alexaudria [sic] at the British Consulate-Geunral [sic] & after taking a short holiday in Rhodes will return here to this exquisite place Where I have a [?] lovely villa.
I was so glad to get your dear care  
Ive will be very busy finishing the wuisic [music] [Dra???] - Have done 450 pages of orchestrae score already. This very detailed work. & [?] all [?] twice at present. Charles has written a [magnificent?] [L???teo].
